Super Spartan and tough Mudder training

so the super Spartan is on September 24th and is a 8 miler and the tough Mudder is in the middle of November and that is a 12 miler a half marathon with obstacles ah!

I’ve sat all morning and modified my Hal Higdon’s schedule for both races starting today!

From today until the 24th of September I will be running from 2 miles - 7 miles. I won’t break the 8 mile mark before the race. I know, sounds insane but I will wing it due to the obstacles so I know I can do some walking to get to the 8 miles. Theres 4 more weeks for that schedule 15k that I’m using for the Spartan race so in there I’ll break into the 9 miles.
After that is done, I have to switch over to the half marathon training which I will have more then enough time. On the 8th week on there I’ll be running already 11.25 miles. So hopefully I can stick to both these schedules and not slack!

Cross fit…

training starts on the 29th! I am very excited! Going to work very hard because, I want to be a better athlete, the best I can be and second because I want to have that cross fit insane body that I work for! And of course so the obstacles races can be a breeze!


Btw,the warrior dash was EASY cake. Oh man.

Abs, fruit shake, morning food! Wee

just did some ab workouts. I like these a lot that I did. As soon as I got to like number……5 or 6 my tummy was burning and aching which is GOOD!

I streched a little not much like always. I need to stop that. Maybe I should start stretching with Dan at night when he does his stretches. Good idea!

No running for me today. Since my training started yesterday I don’t want to overdo it and overuse my legs because I NEED them for Sunday. But, I think I will maybe go for a 1 or 1.50 mile run tomorrow in the a.m. Saturday, I’ll make sure Dan and I go for a 2 mile walk ONLY in preparation for Sunday’s obstacle race! We are very excited! His parents are coming which is awesome too!

My dad might run with my on the 5k race on July 16th along with Dan! I would be really excited if they both got to run with me.

Just finished my:

Strawberry and Blackberry goodness Smoothie! Here are the ingredients:

1/2 cup almond milk
5 frozen strawberries
5 frozen blackberries
1/2 teaspoon peanut butter
5 ice cubes
scoop of protein

And that’s all!!

i really must be thee worst fitness person and runner ever! I am really really wanting Jameson and Coke right now!! Been having it lately again (bad habit, I know!) but I guess I will settle for Jager and Margaritas on the rocks today.
Tomorrow since I have to take my car to the mechanic, my daddy will be taking me back to his house and I’ll use their gym to run treadmill, elliptical, and the bike and of course, push ups, sit ups, etc. Oh boo. I’ve been lazy since my 5k, time to get back on track.

Call me crazy, but I purchased this pedometer today! I previously brought a Sportline pedometer watch but, I did not like it at all.
I wanted a pedometer that will give me an accurate pace since that is my major issue with training and running right now and I figured not spend good money for a good watch instead of a little bit of money on multiple.

I want to find a good pace so my training won’t be all off the walls like it has been and is right now.
Not feeling too great about the 5k coming up….. :-(

So, after being asked to compete and join in the Danskin Womens Triahlon in September, I decided my answer would be YES!!! 

I also will be joining the Tri4Girls Triathlon Training Club to get my training on in swimming, cycling, and running! For 3 months and then I will be training with them for the Danskin Triathlon in Sandy Hook NJ in September, which means I will have friends to go with me! Thank goodness!

I still want to do the Philadelphia Womens Triathlon. I am trying to find recreational parks and venues that have swimming pools and lessons so I can be ready to compete in Julys Triathlon!

Triathlon training club

So, today good workout at the gym just like yesterday. Still I keep getting different readings from all my pedometers. Treadmill says one thing, pedometer watch says another, and my iPod pedometer says another. WTF is up with that!?!?

Anyway, as previously stated, I have 4 races, two 5k, and one 10k, and one half marathon. Woohoo! Much training needed. I need to push myself a little harder which is what I have been doing.

And I have a Triathlon in July! This triathlon is for women of all shapes and sizes which is marvelous! You go gals!

I contacted a triathlon coach today to see if they have space for me to join the Tri4Training Triathlon Womens Club. Only spaces they have open is the Olympic Training Level 1 which is awesome. She asked me a bunch of questions and now I am just now waiting to hear back. I’ll learn to swim finally, pro swim. I am terrified of the water! Once I can not feel the ground or sand I go into panic mode.
So, I will be training in Running, Cycling, and Swimming!
The coach asked if I was willing to join them in competing in the Danskin Womens Triathlon!

I totally killed my calories by eating some pringles least they were Light hahahahaha
