Newborns, blue eyes, 15 miler, race, training, knee straps.

visited my sister and nephew on Friday came back yesterday and she went into labor while I was on the train home. Figures, just my luck.

Have been in break since race, will run definitely, 2 miles today just to get back on the wagon.

Knees have been bothering me, going to buy knee strap today. Should get two? Does anyone wear these?

Just had the best breakfast yet: 2 boiled eggs, sandwich lean turkey, and cottage cheese. Both with black tea decaf and water and lemon. Yum.

I missed a 15 mile hike on Sunday which I’m bummed about, but oh well, maybe this Sunday hike or kayak.

Going to buy the newtons trail runners.

Training starts today for super spartan race on sept 24th which is an 8-miler. Eh.

I’m back! Warrior Dash, Junk Food, Bye bad habits

So, I know inknow. I’ve been gone for quite some time now perhaps over a month! Eek! Which also means that I have been bad!
I have ran a few times, font to the track, hiking, and kayaking, but not as much running as I use to. I have been plain old ass, LAZY since my vacation to Costa Rica which might I add was incredible.
I have the Warrior Dash in 11 days and I haven’t trained as much as I should of although, I did the same shit with Spartan Race. I’m bad. Last few days, I have been doing lunges with weights and ab work but that’s all. I have tried doing pulls up, I suck at that. I literally can not pull my weight. I really want to work on that, like really!
I have cut all the junk food out because I have been horrible with that as well. I’m trying to stick with the same foods everyday so I can just adjust myself to it.

Example as of lately:
Breakfast- 2 eggs, almond butter, and apple and 16 oz water
Snack- peanut butter, protein, and banana shake with 8oz soy milk
Lunch- weight watchers meal, 16 oz water
Snack-almond butter
Dinner- whatever I can find but by the time I getbhome it’s either Tuna from the can or cereal and soy. Blah

Next week I am starting on my strict running schedule. No if and or buts.

We joined Reto Fitness and have only gone three times. Why? Because we have to freaking wait for machines because there are soo many juice heads taking up all machines and NOT sharing. Fuck them.

I’ve been Mia with strep throat since last Wednesday! Which means I haven’t gone to the gym or ran in a week. I’m getting grumpy and moody. I did go to roadrunner sports in Paramus, did their foot analysis and ended up with a pair of Nike Lunarglides 2 and a pair of customized soles for 80 bucks. It cost just as much as the damn sneakers!


Do you think it’s worth 80 dollar soles?
